Especially the ones from Burlotto, both Rinaldi, B. Mascarello, Fenocchio, and several more..Sir Galahadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09748545809674737237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4790131826594329480.post-31197443865306394972015-03-08T00:39:56.563+01:002015-03-08T00:39:56.563+01:00Thanks , love Brunate....when is done right

As said in the tasting note - I love Vietti's Rocche (no oak) but also the Brunate (oak) - call me a complex guy...:-) I get double the pleasure!Joakimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02689406695488368188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4790131826594329480.post-25152684320994944592015-03-07T01:10:26.584+01:002015-03-07T01:10:26.584+01:00Marengo is owning a gem in the Brunate vineyard an...Marengo is owning a gem in the Brunate vineyard and I have enjoyed several Altare versions when they rented parts until recently, especially the 2010 from Altare that except still contain some oak contributions, but is in totally exceptionally great, but needs time in the cellar. However, the Marengo has always been a disappointment, I have stopped following them. :(<br /><br />To me Brunate is a sacred combo of Musigny and Romanée-Saint-Vivant (at its best!) in all its glory and characterictics reallycompared to the bets, Cerequio really. After tasting the way too young Altare version of 2010 (even though too young) I was REALLY impressed, so I will post this up very soon to ease your cravings guys. ;) I know, you don't mind oak contributions, Joakim, but to me in such a good vintage with prefect tannins, it really disturbs me, I am sorry. To me Vietti is a joke in terms of oak treatment. :(Sir Galahadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09748545809674737237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4790131826594329480.post-4245084650644559702015-03-07T00:52:57.666+01:002015-03-07T00:52:57.666+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.Sir Galahadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09748545809674737237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4790131826594329480.post-90808903953456510932015-03-07T00:49:49.206+01:002015-03-07T00:49:49.206+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.Sir Galahadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09748545809674737237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4790131826594329480.post-76000019885577182072015-03-07T00:45:23.148+01:002015-03-07T00:45:23.148+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.Sir Galahadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09748545809674737237noreply@blogger.com
