2022 Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir, Storm
A pure, high nose with gorgeous notes of ripe red currants, raspberry candy, rhubarb, damp earth and some lovely balsamic notes. Very, very fine.
The taste is medium bodied, balanced and handsome with a brilliant acidity, ripe red fruit and a long, lively finish. Still young, I would give this 5+ years in the cellar.
A tasting sample from Quaffable Wines, will be released on the 18th of July.
