2013 Barolo Tortoniano, Michele Chiarlo
A low keyed, somewhat mature nose with notes of dried raspberries, violets and fir wood.
The taste is tight with still bold tannins and notes of red currants, undergrowth and warm sand. Very good but needs another 5+ years in the cellar.
