2018 Brut Millésime, Taittinger
A young, perky nose with notes of toasted bread, lemon cream, elderberries and ripe peaches. Very fine. Even better on day two, the fruit is sweeter and more round.
The taste is fresh and creamy with fine yellow fruit, a cleansing acidity and a long, lingering finish. Also better on the palate on day two.
A tasting sample from Wine Affair.
