2017 Barolo Bricco San Pietro, Podere Ruggeri Corsini
Right from the get go, the nose oozes up from the glass with notes of violets, dried roses, shoe polish and hard cherry candy. A very fine warmth.
The taste is dry and refined with notes of dry tobacco, violets, rosehips and cherry pips. A long, fine finish. Drinking great today and the coming 8+ years.
92p (tasted 2025/02)
