2017 Dolcetto d´Alba, Luigi Pira
A fine, earthy nose with notes of blueberries, modelling clay, geranium and warm rocks. Deep and fine.
The taste is young, tight and racy with notes of violets, blueberries and bakelite. Cool, fine tannins. Some chrushed rocks. Serralunga structure. As I have said before, maybe the best ever Dolcetto from Gianpaolo.

2017 Dolcetto d´Alba Rossana, Ceretto
A fine, spicy, cool nose with notes of ripening blueberries, violet pastilles and earth. Lighter than the Pira but very, very good.
The taste is seedy and fine with notes of dried herbs, blueberries and violet licorice. Easy going tannins. Direct and very satisfying.
