Dolcetto In Langhe

These bottles were tasted at the apartment during my trip to Piedmont in September of last year, see the visits I made below.

2019 Dogliano Superiore Tecc, Luigi Einaudi
A inky, deep nose with lots of ripe blueberries, herbs, tiles and gravel. Very, very good.
The taste is tight and savoury with notes of blueberries, iron and bay leaves. Long and fine.

2017 Dogliani Superiore San Bernardo, Anna Maria Abbona
Judgement referred. A big, blowsy nose with cooked fruit and warm asphalt notes.
The taste is large scaled and seedy with tanninsc, warmth and a long, cooked finish. Not an ok bottle I would guess.
