Two Bottles From Castello di Querceto

2021 Chianti Classico, Castello di Querceto
A light, elegant nose with notes of red currants, gravel, red tea and violets. Young and very, very good.
The taste is tight and dry with notes of dried red cherries, road dust, licorice and dried herbs. A tad linear in the finish. 3+ years.

2020 Chianti Classico Riserva, Castello di Querceto
A stony, restrained nose with notes of red cherries, herbs, hay and dry tobacco. Very, very good in a stern style.
The taste is tight and elegant with notes of red currants, chrushed rock, rosemary and asphalt. Long and fine. Needs 6+ years.
