Last tasted two years ago - Barolista: 2019 Dogliani Superiore Maioli, Anna Maria Abbona - this beauty has opened up and put on some weight. The nose is deep and smoky with notes of plums, damsons, iron and dried meat. Very, very good.
The taste is young and tight with notes of plums, charcoal, dried blueberries and dried flowers. A fine warmth. 5+ years.
