A Couple Of Days In Piedmont - A Visit To Margerita Otto

Its always a treat visiting Alan and have a nice talk about what is going on in Langhe. And of course tasting his fine wines.

2024 Langhe Nebbiolo
A elegant, handsome nose with notes of red cherries, Langhe earth and rosehips.
The taste is silky and fresh with notes of hard cherry candy, bakelite and dried flowers.

2020 Barolo
A deep, refined nose with notes of dried cherries, stale Coca-Cola, paint and asphalt. Very fine.
The taste is pure and racy with gorgeous fruit, silky tannins and a minute long dry finish. 6+ years.
