2010 & 2012 Brunello Di Montalcino, Col d´Orcia

2010 Brunello di Montalcino, Col d´Orcia
A fine, sandy nose with hint of maturity and notes of spicy cherries, bay leaved, sandel wood and cold coffee. Very, very good.
The taste is finely tuned with crisp notes of sour/sweet cherries, dry tobacco, gravel and rosemary. Polished tannins with a salty touch. Long. Drinking fine now and the coming 6+ years.

2012 Brunello di Montalcino, Col d´Orcia
A cool, earthy, elegant nose with notes of cranberries, red cherries, candle grease and dry tobacco. Very fine. Still youngish.
The taste is sandy and fine with notes of hard cherry candy, herbs, tobacco and Tuscan gravel. Very long and fine with a hint of iodine. Give this a couple of years more in the cellar and enjoy over the next 8+ years.
