2016 Dolcetto d´Alba, Giovanni Corino
Tasted 20 months ago
at the estate, I now notice that the nose is almost identical. The blueberries, ink and spices are here. There is a hint of a more mature forest floor scent, like in the autumn. Very, very good.
The taste is pure and fresh with the same salivating tannins and a fine cherry bitterness at the end. Some inky notes as well. For drinking now and the coming 4+ years.
