1995 Vintage Port, Quinta do Vesuvio
A deep, seedy nose with notes of damsons, raisins, dark chocolate, tar, sugared coffe, mahogany and blackberry jam. Deep, tight and complex. Still needs plenty of time.
The taste is intense and structured with notes of toasted almonds, dark chocolate, bonfire, fried nuts and sun warm asphalt. Very, very long. Needs 20+ years.
