2016 Schist Syrah Roundstone, Mullineux
A lovely smoky, meaty nose with notes of violets, plums, green peppers, blood/iron and dark earth. Very complex and very fine.
The taste is cool, tight and refined with notes of raw meat, violets, asphalt and fresh herbs. Very long, fresh and with polished, silky tannins. Great wine. 6+ years.
