2018 Ried Kellerberg Smaragd Riesling, F. X. Pichler
A high, racy, energetic nose with notes of chives, candied lemons, dry passionfruit, lime peel and loads of chrushed rocks. Very fine. Just lovely.
The taste is electric, tight and pure as a mountain river with notes of fennel, grass, white currants and slate. Very, very long. Intense. Just great now and will be for the coming 10+ years.
