1997 Vintage Port, Quinta do Vesuvio
A deep, layered nose with notes of dark chocolate, sweet violets, sunwarm asphalt, fried nuts and a hint of VA. A tad heavy. A fine sweetness.
The taste is big and brawny with notes of raspberry chocolate, damsons, cold coffee and violets. A fine lenght and warmth. Very good but it doesn´t have that real lift I´m looking for in a Port.
