2018 Dolcetto d´Alba, Bruno Giacosa
A deep, handsome nose with notes of ripe blueberries, thyme, ink, leather and some balsamic scents. Very, very good.
The taste is young, silky and layered with notes of dry blueberry pie, blood, bakelite and gravel. A long, distinct finish with fine tannins. This needs 6+ years. Luckily I have a nice stash.
