Drinking Tonight - 2005 Dolcetto d´Alba, Bruno Giacosa

With some Italian delicatessen and cheeses left over from the weekend I opened this bottle on this run of the mill Tuesday.

2005 Dolcetto d´Alba, Bruno Giacosa
A vigorous, upfront nose with notes of hard cherry candy, flower water, undergrowth and some band aid. Some maturity. Medium deep. Very good.
The taste is medium bodied with a fine acidity and notes of sweet/sour cherries, red currants, gravel and a fine salty note. Very nice. A very nice mouthfeel. On this evening, very gulpable.
