2019 Santenay 1er Cru Clos Rosseau, Camille Giroud
A gorgeous old school Pinot nose with notes of (over)ripe raspberries, forest floor, ripe flowers, semi rotten vegetables, rhubarb and violet pastilles. Just lovely.
The taste is elegant and balanced with a fine warmth, a fine acidity and notes of ripe raspberries, salmiak and fresh herbs. Long and fine.
