2014 Barolo, Sangrato
A cool, somewhat mature nose with notes of dried up cherry jam, licorice, wet earth and paint. Very, very good.
The taste is tight and dry with notes of tobacco, cherry pips and sandy tannins. A nice warmth given the vintage.
