Two Fine Gattinara´s

I got to taste these beauties in connection with tasting the 2022 La-La´s - Barolista: The 2022 La-La´s From Guigal

2019 Gattinara Riserva San Francesco, Antoniolo

A deep, fine nose with notes of red apples, fresh stables, earth and leather. Very, very good.

The taste is tight and seedy with notes of hard cherry candy, dry tobacco and dried flowers. Very structured. 6+ years.

2019 Gattinara Riserva Osso San Grato, Antoniolo

A finely tuned, balsamic nose with notes of dried cherries, band-aid, roses and paint. Very fine.

The taste is taut and intense with gorgeous cherry fruit, some balsamic notes and a long, racy finish. 8+ years.
