2021 Elusiva, Odfjell Vineyards
This wine comes from the Valle de Maule in Chile and is a blend of 50% Carignan, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Carmere and 5% Tempranillo.
The nose is deep, direct and interesting with notes of black currant leaves, biscuit chocolate, green menthol and a hint of cigarette smoke.
The taste is medium bodied and silky with a fine warmth, lovely red and black fruit and a long, fresh finish. Very fine.
