1993 Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Lechet, Domaine Jean Defaix
A mature, round, chalky nose with notes of dried apricots, burnt butter, soap and moist earth. Very good. A fine maturity with some dried up sweetness.
The taste is dry and mature with notes of lemon cream, almond paste, caramel and minerals. A good backbone. Medium long. Very, very good. In a perfect drinking stage.
