1991 Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine de Saint Préfert
A 65 point vintage according to Parker. Well...not this bottle anyway. The nose is deep, mature and fine with notes of dried raspberries, red autumn apples, fresh stables and a very fine dried up sweetness to the fruit. Very good.
The taste is soft and warm with notes of dried raspberries, white pepper, herbs and forest floor. Soft tannins and a fine warmth in the finish. A nice drink.
86p (tasted 2002/02)
