1982 Barolo, Patrizi
This needed an hour in a decanter to air the funk away, but then in displays a fine, round, matutre nose with notes of a freshly tarred boat, a moist mushrooms forest, dried up strawberry jam and smoke. Complex and fine. Very, very good.
The taste is dry and fine with notes of dried cherries, rosehips, gravel, violets and dried mushrooms. Medium long with dissolved tannins and a fine dryness. If you want to know anything more about the wine, please call the winery, the number is on the label...
