Exploring The Forgotten Side Of Bordeaux - Chapter VI

2011 Château Coucheroy
This 100% Sauvignon Blanc comes out of Andre Lurton´s realm of white Bordeaux. He makes no less than 14 different expressions of white Bordeaux.
This youngster sports a fresh, grassy nose with notes of nettles, gooseberries, white currants and a hint of fresh ginger. Pure and clean.
The taste is young, light and fresh with notes of freshly cut grass, lemon peel, nettles and some minerals. A nice upfront and honest wine, although the finish is a bit short.
