2017 Barbaresco Starderi, Renato Fenocchio
Bought a couple of these since the 2016 was so fine, se notes below. The -17 shows of a delicate, handsome nose with notes of hard cherry candy, furniture polish, orange peel and a hint of tobacco. Very fine.
The taste is silky and cool with a fine focus and balance. Notes of red cherries, cranberries, rosehips and forest floor. Lovely. On day two the tannins wer more forward. 6+ years.
93p (tasted 2022/10)
