2011 Blanc de Blancs, Diebolt-Vallois
From a magnum. Tasted at the Dorli Muhr lunch - Barolista: Lunch Tasting With Dorli Murh & Her Fantastic Blaufränkisch.
A fine, somewhat mature, smoky nose with notes of fried nuts, chrushed rocks, white currants and butter cookies. Very, very good.
The taste is crisp and fine with notes of matchbox, orange peel, dried flowers and nuts. A fine acidity.
