A 1964 Pomerol Dinner - Part III Of The Autumn Of The Greatest Vintage Ever

Flight I
1964 Cellier Privé D´Herville, R. D´Herville
We started with a corked 1964 Morstein Spätlese, too bad. After that I poured three wines from Burgundy to get the tastebuds going.
A low keyed, nice nose with notes of forest floor, dried herbs and dried red berries.
The taste is light and mature with a shy elegance, a fine acidity and a dry finish. Very good, better than expected.
