Recently I bought a couple of bottles of 1975 Chianti´s. Last night I thought it was time to test drive two bottles, to go along some Italian delicatessen.
1975 Chianti Classico Riserva Il Campino, Benelli
DOA - smelled like mud and tasted like it to... Only 500 bottles made and this was bottle nr 66.
50p (tasted 2015/08)
1975 Chianti Classico Riserva, Conti Serristori
DOA - the nose high of VA and sour grapes, and the taste is all about high acidity and nothing else...
50p (tasted 2015/08)
Just to start over with something else - what to open? Note to follow.
Earlier 1975 Chianti´s tasted - that proved to be fine...:
