2019 Chianti Classico, Monteraponi
A young, tight nose with notes of hard cherry candy, fresh herbs, furniture polish and some dried meat. A fine old school Sangiovese.
The taste is high and fine with sour/sweet cherries, dry licorice and warm sand. A dry, linear finish. Needs time, 6+ years.
