...Cadet.
I wish that it had been the Mouton-Rothschild instead, but alas, this is the closet one gets in this day and age, at least on a regular basis.
1982 Mouton-Cadet
But hey, this isn´t bad! The nose is mature, round and generous with notes of fresh stables, dried black currants, leather, coffee powder and even a slight touch of mint in the background. Has kept up well over the years. Very good.
The taste is mature, dry and not as perky as the nose. Notes of dried blueberries, old leather and charcoal. A medium long finish with som drying out tannins. With some meat on the plate it behaves really good. A nice bottle of aged Bordeaux.
