1990 Chianti Classico Riserva, Castello della Paneretta
A round, mature, fine nose with notes of dried red beets, red cherries, dried flowers, salt licorice and a hint of red wine vinegar. Very good and very much alive.
The taste is mature, dry and linear with notes of cranberries, tobacco, earth and some balsamic notes. A medium long, fine finish which ends dry. Highly drinkable.
