2013 Barolo La Tartufaia, Guilia Negri
A lovely, somewhat mature nose with notes of roses, dried strawberries, paint, sweet tobacco and moist Langhe earth. Very fine.
The taste is focused and velvety with mature red fruit, melted tannins, a fine balsamic note and a long, dry finish. In a perfect drinking stage, now and the coming 8+ years.
94p (tasted 2026/09)
