2011 Château Potensac
Another bottle from my recent foray in the world of Potensac
. The nose jumps out of the glass with perky notes of ripe black currants, plums, fried thyme and hints of melted asphalt. New leather. A fine sweetness to the fruit.
The taste is upfront, juicy and sandy with notes of plums, sweet tobacco, bakelite and hints of green leaves, that adds to the complexity. A tad short though. Very, very good. Should be drunk over the next 6 years.
Something else from 2011...
