2016 Barolo Massara, Gian Carlo Burlotto

2016 Barolo Massara, Gian Carlo Burlotto
Needed some time in the glass but opened up with fine notes of red currants, Christmas spices, shoe polish, warm rocks and hints of tar. Very, very good. High, almost ethereal.
The taste is tighter with a fine structure and notes of spices, assorted red fruits, rosehips and linseed oil. The finish is like chewing on a cherry pip. Long. Drink now or in 8+years.
