1982 Château Gravieres de Marsac
A mature, muffled nose with notes of wet autumn leaves, dried black fruit and soya sauce.
The taste shows a nice warmth with notes of undergrowth, dried up creme de cassis and dry tobacco. Fresher on the palate than on the nose.

1982 Château Meyene
This Fronsac is a beauty. A deep, round nose with notes of sugared coffee, dried black currants, warm tiles and tobacco. Very, very good.
The taste is perky and fine with notes of charcoal, leather and black currants. A fine dried up sweetness. Dtinking great on this winter day.
