2000 Barbera d´Alba Trevigne, Domenico Clerico
A still perky nose with notes of dried raspberries, scorched earth, licorice and pipe tobacco. Soft and very good.
The taste is dry and mature with notes of raspberry licorice, earth, iron and a fine warmth in the finish. A tad short.

2020 Dogliani San Luigi, Chionetti
A stony, herbal nose with notes of blueberries and raspberries, violets, bakelite and iron. Very good.
The taste is cool and structured with notes of red currants, iron, violets and chrushed rocks. Hasn´t budged since last time, see below. 6+ years.
