Another Great White Burgundy - 2010 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières, Domaine Bernard & Thierry Glantenay

After tasting the 2008 Les Folatiéres I searched for more bottles and found some 2010. Time to test drive one of them.

2010 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières, Domaine Bernard & Thierry Glantenay
A wonderful, still young albeit very eloquent nose with notes of candied lemons, hand cream, summer flowers, cap gun smoke and ripe pears. Very, very good. Some salty notes. This is fine. On day two it has become more steely and the lemons have turned a touch more sour. Just lovely.
The taste is refined and delicate with notes of slightly vanilla dusted lemons, white peaches, oatmeal bisquits and sweet minerals. Long, lovely and luscious. A bit tigher on day two. Great now but surely even better in 5+ years time. A truly fine wine that doesn´t reach the heights of the 08, but I would drink this any day of the week.
