2009 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros, Maison Dampt
A big, deep and open nose with notes of candied lemons, flint, seashells and some burnt grass. A hint of oak. Very, very good. Smoky. A fine warmth.
The taste is big and juicy with lots of grilled lemons, blood oranges, fudge and sweet minerals. A long, structured finish with a fine warmth and a good acidity. Still young, should need 4+ years in the cellar.
90p (tasted 2016/02)
