2014 Pouilly-Vinzelles, La Soufrandière

Chardonnay & our Christmas house - the London Bridge!

The night before Christmas Eve we wanted something light to eat, considering the amount of food that will be consumed tomorrow, so I made a fish soup with salmon, cod and shrimps. To go along a opened a bottle of

2014 Pouilly-Vinzelles, La Soufrandière
The Bret Brothers have turned out a fine effort in this vintage, with a young, sporty and fresh nose with notes of grilles lemons, almond paste, summerf flowers and a hint of vanilla pods. Very, very good.
The taste is young and tight with notes of assorted nuts, lemon fudge, sea shells and wet stones. A very good acidity. Long and fine. This is good!
