2010 Barolo Broglio, Schiavenza
A lovely, semi mature nose with notes of cherry licorice, dries ceps, herbs, rosehips, furniture polish and fir wood. Very deep. A fine old school nose.
The taste is cool, tight and somewhat mature with notes of dried cherries, forest floor, mushrooms, dried flowers and a hint of tobacco. Very long and refined. Could use 6+ more years in the cellar.
