2018 Pelaverga Cascina Massara, Gian Carlo Burlotto
Red currants, spices and cool violets flows up from the glass. Open, nice and likeable.
The taste is fresh, light and spicy with notes of lingonberries, Asian spices and hints of white pepper. Very good.

2018 Pelaverga Speziale, Fratelli Alessandria
The 18 Pelaverga from Fratelli Alessandria is as lovely as the 2016 tasted at the estate. The nose is earthy, irony and spicy with notes of red currants, ripening blueberries and incense. Very, very good.
The taste is pure and fresh with notes of sweet lingonberries, iron, white pepper and spices. A fine acidity. Highly drinkable.
88p (tasted 2020/01)
