A 17 Bottle Chardonnay Evening

A white evening. All in all 20 bottles.
All wines tasted double blind except for the one I brought which was tasted single blind. I knew that it was in one of the flights but did I figure it out where it was? No...

Some other whites to get things started:
2017 Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett, Schloss Lieser
A fresh, stony nose with notes of white peach, white pepper and a hint of rubber. Lots of chrushed rock.
The taste is young and tight with notes of grey pears, grass and white pepper. A long finish with a fine acidity. Very good in a, for the moment, monolithic way. 4-6 years.
87p   (tasted 2020/01)
