2004 Barolo San Rocco, Azelia

2004 Barolo San Rocco, Azelia
A finely tuned, rich nose with sugar dusted black cherries, licorice, warm asphalt and darkly perfumed. Very deep and fine.
The taste is big and bold with some maturity and notes of dried up cherry jam, tobacco, asphalt and violets. A very long, iron clad finish. Drinking great now and the coming 10+ years.
