1997 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Halbtrocken, S.A. Prüm
A deep, mature nose with notes of dried peach, rubber, wet stones and yellow apples. Somewhat linear.
The taste is dry and a tad foursquare with notes of old lemons, chalk and gravel.

1992 Nackenheim Rothenberg Riesling Auslese, Weingut Gunderloch
A high, refined nose with notes of apricots, matchbox, oil cloth and a touch of saffron. Very fine.
The taste is silky and intense with gorgeous fruit, a fine acidity and a long, semi dry finish.
My last bottle from a stash bought in 1994 for 17 Euro a bottle.
