2004 Arbois Cuvée Sacha, Jacques Puffeney

2004 Arbois Cuvée Sacha, Jacques Puffeney
Seafood and a bottle of Arbois, sounds like a great idea, right? And it was. This blend of SAvagnin and CHArdonnay (Cuvée Sacha...) shows a crisp, dry, steely nose with notes of walnuts, dry biscuits, clay and toasted almonds. High and fine. A fine salty aroma.
The taste is dry and salty with notes of dried lemons, some rubbery notes, salted nuts and lots of minerals. A high acidity. Long and snappy. A fine flor like note. A perfect match with the shellfish.
