A Bottle Of Bubbly - 2008 Brut, Pol Roger

2008 Brut, Pol Roger
The latest vintage on the state monopoly of this perennial favourite of mine is of the great 08 vintage non the less! Just have to open a bottle. And glad I did, so I can buy more...
The nose is deep, tight yet light, high and complex with lovely notes of lemon cream, summer flowers, sweet minerals, fish stock and white peach. Multi dimensional and great.
The taste is young, tight and concentrated with notes of grilled lemons, honey pastilles, star fruit and sun warm gravel. A long, distinct finish with a fine acidity. Lip smacking good with a great potential. How many should I buy...?
