Up at 5, to the airport, a flight to Milan, a car drive to the hallowed land of Nebbiolo, a visit to Bartolo Mascarello, a visit to Giacomo Conterno, a quick visit to Alba for some wine buying and then a long dinner at La Coccinella with Maria Teresa Mascarello. All during a crisp, beautiful autumn day.
Life is good.
