2010 Vigorello, San Felice
A deep, fine, still young nose with notes of sweet/sour cherries, dark roses, fresh rosemary, tobacco and a high balsamic note. Very, very good.
The taste is sandy and fine with notes of ripe red cherries, dry licorice, graphite and herbs. Long and fine. Silky tannins. 4+ years.
Looking forward to an upcoming vertical tasting of Vigorello, starting with the first vintage ever, the 1968.
